Glossy Glazed Porcelain Stoneware Niches

Glossy glazed niches in porcelain stoneware are available in standard sizes or custom cuts based on the customer's specifications.

Niches with a thickness of 0.6 cm and 1.2 cm are single-fired porcelain stoneware products. Niches with a thickness of 1.0 cm and 1.7 cm are made through a double-firing process: the first firing is done as biscuit (unglazed ceramic) at approximately 1000°C, followed by a second firing at around 1280–1300°C to apply the glaze. At this temperature, the glaze fuses with the body itself, becoming an integral part of the piece rather than a surface layer.

A third firing, at approximately 870–900°C, is used to apply the photographic image, ensuring the product remains unalterable over time.

The surface of the niche is waterproof, acid-resistant, frost-resistant, and scratch-resistant. This highly durable material is composed of a few select minerals, such as kaolin, quartz, feldspar, and bentonite.

Glossy glazed niches come with a lifetime guarantee.
